About Your New Job:

• Ensure consistent delivery of new products meeting agreed standards and compliance with policies and legislation.
• Lead NPD & EPD projects from concept to launch, working cross-functionally and implementing Lean NPD techniques.
• Monitor compliance with stage gate product development process, meeting deadlines in project development.
• Coordinate day-to-day NPD process for line extension and brand pack resizing projects.
• Provide leadership, and training, and contribute to continuous improvement in the Innovation Department.

What Skills You Need:

• A Third level degree in Food Technology, Food Science
• 5 years of hands-on experience in a Food Development Role in the FMCG sector.
• Excellent knowledge of Quality systems e.g. BRC Standard, HACCP systems, and Allergen control.
  Excellent technical knowledge of specification and customer systems such as TTL, HG, Igloo, or similar.
• Excellent Knowledge of Food Legislation, and legal labelling requirements.
• Supplier and product selection.
• Product quality optimization.
• Application of benchmarking and lean techniques.
• Product and packaging cost modeling
• Excellent Supplier negotiation
• Process-oriented, required to demonstrate strong organizational, analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Some knowledge of R&D Tax Credit or R&D funding applications and reporting.
