About Your New Employer:

 

Our client who are a leading electricity provider are seeking a Senior Controller, to join their Dublin based office in a hybrid working model, and on a full-time permanent contract.

 

About Your New Job:

 

  • Provide operational input and monitoring of key market activities such as auctions and production of settlement documents
  • Monitoring and analysis of market data and resolution of operational issues
  • Operates business processes within their designated area, in consultation with the senior controller
  • Works within defined guidelines and supervision, resolves simple issues and escalates complex issues in line with processes
  • Ensures compliance with procedures and relevant codes, raises deviations to senior team members
  • Engaging with internal and external stakeholders that support operation processes
  • Supporting preparation and analysis of information to support business processes and procedures
  • Planning and co-ordinating work or projects to a high standard and within the timelines set out by the Grid Code, Trading and Settlement Codes, SEMOpx rules and Capacity Market rules and RESS terms and conditions.
  • You will be a subject matter expert and review and approve documents produced by the Controllers in line with agreed processes.

 

Who you are:

 

  • Business, IT, Finance or similar third level qualification, typically with 3+ years relevant experience
  • Experience in co-ordinating and overseeing delivery of key tasks within a team
  • Demonstrable track record of establishing and maintaining effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent time management and coordination skills
  • Effective communicator – expressing information and ideas to others in a clear and concise manner both verbally and in writing
  • Numeracy and analytical skills
  • A natural attention to detail and accuracy
  • Experience in presenting to large groups
