About Your New Employer
- My client is a highly successful and well-known tourism and travel company with offices in Dublin and the UK, operating in Ireland for the past 45 years.
- They specialise in specific types of inbound tourism, including group tours, conferences and events, luxury leisure travel, individual travel and online travel.
- Office based in Dublin 8.
- Hybrid Working (3 days in office, 2 days working from home).
- Mon-Fri, 09.00-17.30.
About Your New German Customer Care Job
- The Account Handling/Customer Services function for Ireland and for some group files for Scotland and the rest of the UK as required within the Northern Europe Groups Department – key to this is to ensure that client group operations
requirements for the department operate smoothly and in a timely fashion. - Full utilisation of the Tourplan system to generate all client and supplier communications also ensuring that the confirmed proposal is accurately reflected in Tourplan thereby facilitating a smooth and accurate accounting process.
- Responsibility for operating the Department’s 24 hour emergency phone number on a rotational basis; shared with other Customer Care staff members from the Northern Europe Groups Department.
- Any agreed sales and marketing activities, either in Ireland or in the overseas market place. This could take the form of either desk based activities or direct agent/client
interaction
What Skills You Need for this German Customer Care Job
- Fluent German and English
- Good knowledge of the Irish and Scottish tourism industry products a distinct advantage
- Third level qualification in Business, Tourism or Languages or relevant experience.
