About the Company

A global biopharmaceutical company are looking for an Junior Project Engineer to join their team on a 12-month contract. The Engineer will support the management and execution of projects throughout the full project life cycle.

  • Ensure projects achieve safety, financial, schedule, and scope objectives.
  • Guarantee project compliance with engineering standards, company policies, and regulations.
  • Coordinate with global teams to align and support project goals.
  • Adhere to project management principles throughout project lifecycles.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders on project concepts and business cases.
  • Lead and assist project teams throughout project execution.
  • Manage project finances, budgets, and expenses.
  • Prioritize projects and manage spending to meet budget goals.
  • Design solutions in line with safety and regulatory requirements.
  • Plan and schedule projects using appropriate tools.
  • Utilize value engineering to optimize costs and enhance value.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks effectively.
  • Develop comprehensive project execution plans.
  • Handle procurement processes in accordance with policies.
  • Explore innovative approaches for design and construction.
  • Supervise start-up, commissioning, and validation processes.
  • Ensure completion of project close-out procedures.

What skill/experience you need

  • Engineering degree preferred.
  • Ability to manage projects from start to finish.
  • Experience leading diverse teams to deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget.
  • Familiarity with project stage-gate processes.
  • Strong understanding of project management from planning to completion.
  • Effective stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience in managing cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in managing project finances and risk.
  • Experience with SAP and budgeting tools.
  • Biologic manufacturing site experience.
  • Over 2 years of project management/engineering experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
