About your new employer

A dynamic technology transformation and engineering service provider, specializing in the fields of medical devices, life sciences, and healthcare are currently looking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join their team in Cork.

About your new job

  • Works with Engineering leaders to deliver business objectives.
  • Providing technical leadership & improvements on all product and process issues.
  • Line performance monitoring, and the compilation and execution of structured event plans.
  • Development and implementation of appropriate supporting documentation, SOPs and process work instructions compliant with current Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • Transferring and implementing processes, either from development, or from another manufacturing facility.
  • Provision of technical leadership/guidance for the Process / maintenance technicians and other Manufacturing / Equipment Engineers on the team.
  • Always observing the Quality Management Systems requirements on site.
  • Provide engineering support for new Product and new process introduction.
  • Provision of out-of-hours support to the business as required by management or
  • as mandated by shutdowns and/or equipment failures.
  • Process validation for products and processes and associated documentation.

What skill/experience you need

  • Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing | Mechanical Engineering or in a relevant Engineering / Science discipline.
  • 3+ Years experience in a manufacturing engineering role.
  • Experience working with CNC Systems is a must.
  • Certification in Six Sigma is an advantage.
  • Great knowledge in Lean Manufacturing & Regulated Industries - FDA, ISO etc.
  • A full clean Irish Driver's Licence - Class B.
  • Great communication & project management skills.
