A global leader in energy-efficient air treatment and climate solutions located in Carrigaline, Co. Cork is looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer.

About your new job

  • Working with an engineering team to design electrical and control systems for data centre cooling HVAC products.
  • Using your existing knowledge of HVAC systems generation of P&ID diagrams, electrical schematics, control panel layouts and sequence of operations.
  • Analyse client design sequence of operations.
  • Create test sequences for HVAC equipment.
  • Collaborating with technicians to ensure precise execution of control system testing.
  • Develop and debug control programs and HMI applications on Carel & Automated Logic control platforms.
  • Ensuring complete electrical and control design meets all current regulations and standards.
  • Helping the manufacturing teams during the production phase of the equipment.
  • Supporting the service teams during commissioning.

What skill/experience you need

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical / Electronic / Mechatronic Engineering required.
  • 3+ years’ experience in designing control systems for HVAC systems.
  • Prior experience in Data Centre projects is a significant advantage but not essential.
  • Familiarity with controls integration for mechanical components.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office.
  • Brilliant Problem-Solving Skills & Management of Engineering changes.
  • Excellent Communication & Interpersonal Skills.
