One of Ireland’s leading providers of renewable energy solutions are currently looking for a Senior Commercial Manager to join their team in Waterford.
About your new job
- Lead the negotiation and drafting of various commercial agreements, including power purchase agreements (PPAs), equipment supply contracts, and service agreements.
- Ensure contracts are aligned with company goals and compliant with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, contractors and other stakeholders.
- Identify, assess and mitigate contractual risks associated with renewable energy projects.
- Develop strategies to minimize exposure and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
- Monitor contract performance, compliance and key milestones.
- Stay abreast of changes in law and regulations relevant to the renewable energy industry.
- Collaborate with finance teams to analyse the financial implications of contracts.
- Facilitate the resolution of disputes arising from contractual relationships.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency in contract management process.
What skill/experience you need
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Accountancy.
- Additional Qualification in Construction Law and Contracts Administration or similar would be an advantage.
- Over 3 years’ experience working in Commercial Management or Contract Management roles.
- Familiarity with legal and regulatory frameworks related to renewable energy contracts.
- A full clean Irish Driver’s Licence – Willing to travel to sites in Waterford & Leinster.
- Provide track record of successful contract negotiations and management.
- Analytical skills for financial evaluation and risk assessment.
