Job title:         Reception Manager – Student Accommodation

 

Our client is a thriving student accommodation provider located in Dublin. The Reception Manager is responsible for managing the three reception areas during term and leading service KPIs during the summer. Reporting the Operations Manager you will work alongside other key departments.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee reception, reservations ensuring reception areas are well-maintained.
  • Maintain records of contractors and guest arrivals/departures.
  • Train and supervise reception staff.
  • Collate and deliver accurate reports and updates for management.
  • Monitor team performance and conduct annual appraisals.
  • Handle complaints and manage weekly rota system.

The ideal candidate will need:

  • Minimum 3 years’ management experience in student accommodation or hospitality.
  • Able to manage and motivate a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Third-level qualification in Management/Hospitality desirable but not essential.
  • Flexibility in working hours essential.

Salary: €35K-40k DOE per annum.

20 days annual leave (increasing after 2 years)
