About Your New Role:

As a Mortgage Specialist you will meet with customers to discuss their property ownership goals. You will help our customers determine and fine tune their mortgage needs and work with them to present their agreed requirement in an optimum manner to achieve their funding approval. 

You will be responsible for reviewing, analysing and validating mortgage submissions to ensure they are compliant with our business standards at all times. You will utilise our internally developed software and system  to deliver mortgages solutions in line with our values of simpler, quicker and better.

What You Will Do:

  • Be capable of building strong relationships with customers, our team and lenders representatives
  • Provide outstanding levels of Customer Experience from the initial meeting, where we guide our customers in developing their property goals, informing and educating them on how the mortgage process works, engaging in ongoing support and communications by ensuring they are informed at every stage of the process, concluding in the successful ownership of their property.
  • Validate and process their mortgage application, information & documents in accordance with their specific and agreed wishes
  • Update our proprietary system to reflect work carried out and manage all daily activity and ongoing processes
  • Work to achieve and exceed ambitious financial goals and company standards
  • Keep up to date on all mortgage products and characteristics within the market including lenders policies and procedures
  • Be focused on continuously learning through personal and professional development 

Who You Are:

  • Ideally 1-2 years experience with a mortgage broker, Bank or Lender
  • High levels of energy, enthusiasm and motivation
  • Highly organised with high levels of attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and also contribute to the teams success
  • Desire for continuous learning and problem solving to improve processes and customer outcomes
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex  circumstances and proposals to our customers and service  providers
