Management Accountant – West Dublin

My client, a leading international company require a management accountant to join their team on an initial 9-month contract.

As a Management Accountant, you will play a crucial role in providing accurate financial information and analysis to support strategic decision-making within the organization. You will work closely with senior management to develop budgets, monitor performance, and identify areas for improvement.

About the Role
As a management accountant you will be responsible for the below activities

• Prepare monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and commentary.
• Assist in the development of annual budgets and forecasts.
• Analyse financial data and provide insights to support business decisions.
• Monthly sales and margin reconciliation and analysis for the said divisions
• Monitor key performance indicators and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Review costings, analysis and sponsorship agreements with the Marketing Department
• Preparation and submission of a bi-monthly VAT return.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial processes and systems.
• Prepare ad-hoc financial reports and analysis as required.

What you need

• Fully Qualified ACCA/ACA/CIMA
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Proficient in Excel
• Excellent analytical skills – Ideally looking for someone with strong budgeting/forecasting/costing (management accountant)
