A Global Healthcare company is looking for a Maintenance Technician to join their Carlow site on an 11-month contract.

About your new job

• Provide technical support for production, including maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting.
• Conduct detailed maintenance, calibrations, PMs and troubleshooting.
• Ensure reliable equipment operation and compliance with standards.
• Document maintenance work and repairs on the Computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
• Operate and monitor production support equipment using MES/DCS and PLC-based systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair complex systems.
• Participate in continuous improvement efforts and root cause analysis.
• Coordinate with vendors for parts and upgrades.
• Assist in facility upkeep and customer support.
• Comply with regulations and GMP.
• Promote safety and compliance culture.

What skill/experience you need

• Completion of a MAMF Apprenticeship or equivalent Certificate/Diploma in Engineering or a related field is necessary.
• Previous experience in GMP and regulated pharmaceutical production environment is essential.
• Preventive and reactive maintenance hands-on experience is required.
• Understanding of mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and pneumatic processes is essential.
• Proficiency in Microsoft office
