One of Europeans leading food company is looking for a Interim Engineer manager in their Tyrone site. The Engineering manager will be leading the team by providing clear leadership, direction, and vision. Also, developing and implementing the engineering strategy.

About your new job

• Manage and lead the engineering team through coaching, mentoring methods and monitoring team targets.
• Develop and maintain training programmes, matching skill levels to the requirement of the site operation.
• Ensure food safety principles and legal requirements are applied effectively.
• Maintain safe work practices and behaviours in line with the company’s culture.
• Manage the health and safety of engineering staff onsite.
• Develop and maintain an engineering strategy that is well-managed, efficient, and able to adapt to changing production circumstances.
• Ensure productive capability of the plant is improved for the business requirements and optimised.

What skill/experience you need

• Manager experience leading a team in a large complex, manufacturing fast paced site.
• Commercial awareness with experience of managing large budgets and contractors.
• Project management expertise of engineering and infrastructure projects.
• Operational expertise in risk management and contingency planning.
• Experience in leading and motivating sizeable teams and building a high-performance workforce.
