About Your New Employer

A company that provides supply, installation and commissioning of Heating, Ventilation & Air Conditioning (HVAC) equipment for a HVAC Engineer to join their team in Cork.

About Your New Job

  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance of commercial rooftop heating and cooling equipment.
  • Diagnose the cause of problems or failures in systems & identify equipment or systems repair or replacements.
  • Inform management regarding procedures and the status of work orders.
  • Inspect HVAC systems and their components to evaluate condition.
  • Acknowledge & identify necessary repairs and recommend preventive maintenance.
  • Install heating and air-conditioning equipment and ventilation systems.
  • Maintain service vehicle, tools, and equipment in good working order.
  • Participate in meetings, workshops and training as required.

What Skills You Need

  • Higher Certificate or Qualified by Trade - Refrigeration & Air-Conditioning QQI Level 6 is ideal.
  • Over 2 Years’ Experience working in the HVAC industry - Air Handling Units, Air Handling Systems, Boilers and Pumping Systems.
  • F-Gas Qualified is an advantage but not essential.
  • Flexible on out-of-hours on-call rota from time to time.
  • A full clean Irish Driver’s Licence – Class B.
  • Excellent Communication & Interpersonal skills.
  • Team player as well as working on their own initiative.
