A leading construction company are currently on the look for a Health & Safety Manager to join their Life Science team in Limerick.

About your new job

• Assist the other HSE Manager’s in the consistent roll out of company strategy and expectations within SOPs, Guidance etc.
• Carry out high quality safety inspections in the workplaces & perform risk reviews.
• Attend sites following accidents/incidents and assist with the investigation.
• Understand bespoke client requirements and tailor management systems.
• Assist other HSE Manager’s with tender and prequalification submissions.
• Attend Start Up meetings with site teams.
• Coach staff at all levels in Health and Safety expectations and standards.
• Implement the management system to other teams & train others to use it.
• Foster innovative ideas for enhanced safety performance.
• Deliver appropriate training when required.

What skill/experience you need

• Bachelor’s Degree in Health & Safety or Equivalent.
• 5+ years’ experience working in a similar role.
• Working in the Construction/Pharmaceutical/Medical Device industries are an advantage.
• NEBOSH Construction Diploma or equivalent is an advantage but not an essential.
• A full clean Irish Driver’s Licence – Class B.
• Up-to-date knowledge of the Health & Safety rules & guidelines.
• Excellent Communication & People Management skills.
