About Your New Employer  

• One of Ireland’s leading motor dealers with multiple franchises.
• Recently qualified accountant, practice trained in accounts with strong commercial acumen and proven ability in preparation of accounts to trial balance stage.
• This position will suit someone who is eager to pursue a career in the motor industry and gain experience with a technical accounting system.
• This is a permanent role, 5-days per week on-site.

About Your New Job as Treasury Analyst

• Preparation of monthly management accounts
• Updating and reconciling nominal ledger accounts.
• Assisting with the reconciliation of various accounts.
• Assisting in the preparation of other periodic business reports.
• Participating in various other activities as required.
• Experience within AP/AR/Accounts.
• Preparation of Bank Reconciliations.
• Reviewing bank statements on a daily/weekly basis & preparing journals based on activity.
• Adhering to week/month end deadlines.

What Skills You Need as Treasury Analyst

• Recently qualified accountant looking to make the practice to industry jump, ideally having been involved in the audit / accounts preparation for small to medium sized enterprises
• Have proven experience in preparation of accounts including journal postings.
• Commercially astute & technically fit.
• Have strong administrative and IT skills, especially Excel.
• Have strong motivation and organisational skills, with the ability to multi-task and prioritise work.
• Have good attention to detail and accuracy of work.
• Have a positive & enthusiastic attitude and work well as part of a team.
• Have flexibility in approach to work. The role is hands on in nature.
• Have strong analytical and communication skills.
