About your new employer

A Company that builds bespoke assembly machines and automation solutions for the Medical Device, Automotive and Electronic sectors in Limerick are currently looking for an Electrician.

About your new job

  • Wire, build, and install electrical control panels/systems.
  • Ensure all allocated jobs are completed within the agreed timeframe, and machines are released on time, ensuring Supervisor/Leader kept up to date regarding the status of work.
  • Working with and having excellent knowledge of three-phase electrical systems, medium and low voltage switchgear, electrical metering, control, and protection systems.
  • Routine checking of all types of electrical systems, including fault finding and repair.
  • Authorised to carry out machine installations and to support the installation team.
  • Assist the assembly technicians as required in relation to electrical works.
  • Complete work orders and recording materials that are used on the project.
  • Complete records in accordance with the Quality Management System and follow procedures.

What Skills/Experience you need

  • Qualified Electrician or equivalent Qualification.
  • 3+ years' experience in industrial electrical/automation systems.
  • Electrical panel building experience required.
  • Knowledge of safety systems, electronics, PLC’s, industrial networks, vision systems and robotics a distinct advantage.
  • Experience working with Solidworks, Eplan or other electrical design is desirable.
  • A full clean Irish Driver’s Licence.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
