About your new employer
A Company that builds bespoke assembly machines and automation solutions for the Medical Device, Automotive and Electronic sectors in Limerick are currently looking for an Electrician.
About your new job
- Wire, build, and install electrical control panels/systems.
- Ensure all allocated jobs are completed within the agreed timeframe, and machines are released on time, ensuring Supervisor/Leader kept up to date regarding the status of work.
- Working with and having excellent knowledge of three-phase electrical systems, medium and low voltage switchgear, electrical metering, control, and protection systems.
- Routine checking of all types of electrical systems, including fault finding and repair.
- Authorised to carry out machine installations and to support the installation team.
- Assist the assembly technicians as required in relation to electrical works.
- Complete work orders and recording materials that are used on the project.
- Complete records in accordance with the Quality Management System and follow procedures.
What Skills/Experience you need
- Qualified Electrician or equivalent Qualification.
- 3+ years' experience in industrial electrical/automation systems.
- Electrical panel building experience required.
- Knowledge of safety systems, electronics, PLC’s, industrial networks, vision systems and robotics a distinct advantage.
- Experience working with Solidworks, Eplan or other electrical design is desirable.
- A full clean Irish Driver’s Licence.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
