A Global healthcare company is looking for a Chemist to join their Tipperary site on a Temporary 11-month contract. The Chemist will be responsible for carrying out research on assigned research problems contributing to the attainment of a defined research objective.

About your new job

• Maintain Analytical Laboratory instrumentation in validated state to support testing activities, following company policies and schedules.
• Solving parts of complicated research problems.
• Regularly check Instrument Calibrations to minimize downtime during testing.
• Perform preventive maintenance and calibration to keep instruments working correctly.
• Ensure maintenance of all instruments by validation through a PM/PV schedule to ensure instruments are always in a validated state.
• Have responsibility for Data Integrity requirements for all systems used in the laboratories.

What skill/experience you need

• Science Degree (Chemistry, Physics, or related Life Science) or relevant experience.
• Strong documentation skills.
• Knowledge of GMP standards and Laboratory safety standards.
• Ability to maintain accurate records in compliance with GMP expectations.
• Understanding and internalization of procedures relevant to GMP operations.
• Technically strong.
