Fund Accountant

A Fund Accountant is responsible for all aspects of daily accounting for various types of funds, for example, mutual, hedge, private equity, real estate exchange traded funds etc. Their key responsibilities include preparing and calculating Net Asset Values (NAV), processing corporate actions, managing cash balances, querying cash and trade reconciliation breaks, fund pricing, liaising with other departments and shareholders such as Transfer Agency, Trade Capture, Custodians, Brokers etc. to ensure a smooth execution of the fund.
