Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Warehouse & Customer Services Manager to lead warehouse operations, logistics, and customer service within a regulated manufacturing environment. The role will focus on supply chain efficiency, hazardous chemical management, inventory control, and team leadership, ensuring safe handling and compliance with dangerous goods and chemical safety regulations.
This position would suit an experienced Warehouse Manager with strong operational leadership and experience managing chemical or hazardous materials in a regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead warehouse and supply chain operations, including inventory management, storage, and distribution.
Ensure safe handling, storage, and compliance related to hazardous chemicals and dangerous goods.
Manage inbound and outbound logistics, including coordination of transport, customs, and regulatory requirements.
Oversee customer service and order management, ensuring accurate order processing and strong customer communication.
Drive continuous improvement and Lean initiatives to improve operational efficiency.
Ensure compliance with GMP, safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
Lead and develop warehouse and customer service teams, ensuring strong performance and engagement.
Monitor operational KPIs, reporting, and cost control.
Requirements
Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field.
5+ years’ experience in warehouse, logistics, or supply chain management.
Experience managing chemical inventory and hazardous materials in a regulated environment.
Knowledge of dangerous goods regulations (ADR, IMDG, IATA) an advantage.
Experience within GMP or regulated manufacturing environments preferred.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Experience using ERP systems and warehouse management systems.
