About Your New Job
- Interpret and verify technical drawings and specifications (primarily SolidWorks) to fabricate high-precision machined parts and complex assemblies.
- Inspect and measure completed components to verify dimensions, alignments, and clearances, ensuring strict adherence to customer specifications and internal quality standards.
- Operate and program CNC milling machines efficiently to produce high-quality tooling and components.
- Utilize your working knowledge of manual and CNC lathes, EDM wire erosion machines, surface grinders, and other conventional and precision machine tools to enhance production processes.
- Experience with Doosan or Hurco equipment
What Skills You Need
- Minimum Level 6 Advanced Certificate in Craft & Toolmaking (or equivalent).
- 2+ years experience as a Toolmaker in a precision engineering or manufacturing environment.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Solid understanding of engineering drawings, tolerances, and material properties.
- Commitment to continuous improvement, safety, and quality in all aspects of the role.
