About Your New Job

  • Interpret and verify technical drawings and specifications (primarily SolidWorks) to fabricate high-precision machined parts and complex assemblies.
  • Inspect and measure completed components to verify dimensions, alignments, and clearances, ensuring strict adherence to customer specifications and internal quality standards.
  • Operate and program CNC milling machines efficiently to produce high-quality tooling and components.
  • Utilize your working knowledge of manual and CNC lathes, EDM wire erosion machines, surface grinders, and other conventional and precision machine tools to enhance production processes.
  • Experience with Doosan or Hurco equipment 

What Skills You Need

  • Minimum Level 6 Advanced Certificate in Craft & Toolmaking (or equivalent).
  • 2+ years experience as a Toolmaker in a precision engineering or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Solid understanding of engineering drawings, tolerances, and material properties.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement, safety, and quality in all aspects of the role.
