About Your New Job

As a Supplier Engineer you will:

  • Evaluate, select, and apply standard engineering techniques and procedures to supplier-related projects and materials activities.
  • Lead smaller projects or contribute to large-scale cross-functional projects under guidance from senior staff.
  • Work as the main point of contact between materials and other departments, resolving any supply chain issues that arise.
  • Participate in material qualification activities, including assessment and investigation of supplied material issues or supply constraints.
  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate detailed phases of engineering work within major or total projects.
  • Support NCEP/CAPA investigations to determine root cause for defective materials at various stages of production and processing.
  • Ensure all actions comply with quality policies and procedures, maintaining a focus on patient safety and product excellence.

What Skills You Need

  • NFQ Level 8 Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Chemical or Material Science, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of engineering experience in supplier or manufacturing engineering.
  • Strong technical and conceptual abilities related to materials and process improvement.
  • Proven organizational, project management, and communication skills.
  • Experience with medical device suppliers preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to analyze technical challenges and develop effective, practical solutions.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven.
