The Work

As Site Engineer on a major residential development in North Dublin, you will play a central role in driving the project from early stages through to completion. You will work closely with the site and project management teams to ensure accurate setting out, strong quality control, and effective coordination on site.

• Carry out setting out and surveying using modern equipment and techniques.
• Ensure all construction works align with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Support site management with day-to-day operations and on-site coordination.
• Plan and coordinate subcontractors to keep work on schedule and resolve on-site issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate records, reports, and site documentation.
• Assist with implementation of health & safety procedures and promote a safe working environment.

The Person

The ideal candidate is a technically strong and detail-focused Site Engineer who enjoys working on complex residential projects and collaborating with a broad site team.

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• Previous experience as a Site Engineer on construction projects; residential project experience is an advantage.
• Proficient setting out skills and experience with modern surveying equipment.
• Solid understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and site processes.
• Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple activities.
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a wider site team.
• Proactive, reliable, and thorough, with strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
