Site Engineer – Dublin

€55,000 – €65,000 + Package | Permanent

About Your New Company

Our client is an established Irish main contractor with a strong pipeline of residential, commercial and mixed-use developments across Dublin.

They are looking to add an experienced Site Engineer to their project team.

About Your New Role

As Site Engineer, you will work closely with the Site Manager, Project Manager and wider engineering team to ensure the project is delivered accurately, safely and in line with programme requirements.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Setting out and surveying
  • Checking drawings and specifications
  • Quality control and inspections
  • Coordinating with subcontractors
  • Recording site measurements and quantities
  • Maintaining site records
  • Assisting with technical queries
  • Monitoring works against drawings and specifications
  • Supporting the Site Manager and Project Manager
  • Ensuring works are completed to the required standards

What You Will Need

  • Degree/Higher Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction or related discipline
  • 2+ years' construction experience preferred
  • Strong setting-out experience
  • Proficient with surveying equipment and AutoCAD
  • Good understanding of construction drawings
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Full clean driving licence desirable
