Service Technician – Automation (Medical & Pharmaceutical Sector)

About Your New Job as Service Technician:

  • Prepare, install, start up, maintain, and repair advanced automation machinery.
  • Provide production support and on-site customer training.
  • Assist in equipment assembly and acceptance testing (usually onsite at customer facilities).
  • Identify and recommend equipment improvements.
  • Provide telephone support and collaborate closely with our UK & German Customer Service teams.

What Skills You Need for Service Technician:

  • Experience in the medical/pharmaceutical industry.
  • Mechanical and electrical experience is essential.
  • Background in packaging, assembly, and automation equipment.
  • A proactive problem-solver with strong communication skills.
  • Flexibility to travel extensively (150–220 days per year) across the UK & Ireland, with visits to our HQ near Stuttgart, Germany for training and equipment familiarization.
  • Ability to work mostly Monday–Friday, with occasional weekend commitments.
