Our client is a leading Irish construction contractor with an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality commercial, residential, hospitality and fit-out projects across Ireland.

With a strong pipeline of work and a growing project portfolio, they are now looking to appoint an experienced Senior Engineer to join their team on a major hotel development in Dublin City Centre.

This is an excellent opportunity to join an established contractor and work on a high-profile, technically challenging project in one of Dublin's most prominent locations.

About Your New Role

As Senior Engineer, you will work closely with the Project Manager, Construction Manager, Site Management team, design team and subcontractors to ensure the successful delivery of the project.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing and coordinating all engineering activities on site.
• Setting out and overseeing construction works through to completion.
• Reviewing and interpreting construction drawings, specifications and technical information.
• Coordinating with the design team and resolving technical queries and RFIs.
• Managing engineering requirements for subcontractors and specialist contractors.
• Carrying out quality inspections and maintaining accurate site records.
• Monitoring works against the project programme.
• Coordinating with architects, consultants, subcontractors and other project stakeholders.
• Providing technical support to the wider site team.

What You Need

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering or a related discipline.
• 5+ years' experience in a Site Engineer / Senior Engineer position.
• Previous experience working with a main contractor.
• Experience delivering large-scale construction projects.
• Experience across commercial, residential, hotel, hospitality or fit-out projects.
• Strong setting-out and surveying experience.
• Excellent understanding of construction drawings and specifications.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors and design teams.
• Strong technical, organisational and communication skills.
