About Your New Job

As the Senior Project Manager, you will:

  • Lead cross-functional new product engineering and operational improvement projects, ensuring alignment across Engineering, EH&S, Maintenance, HR, Finance, Operations, and Quality.
  • Prepare and present regular project updates, highlighting status, risks, opportunities, and recommendations to stakeholders and senior leadership.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, budgets, timelines, and risk registers, ensuring all deliverables meet scope, quality, and cost requirements.
  • Drive operational improvement initiatives focused on productivity, quality, cost, delivery, and KPIs.
  • Facilitate problem-solving, risk mitigation, change management, and compliance activities.
  • Champion Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, and continuous improvement practices, fostering an environment of innovation.
  • Lead end-of-project management reviews to evaluate success and record lessons learned.
  • Deputise for the Head of PMO as required and undertake other duties as assigned.

What Skills You Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 8 years of proven program/project management experience, ideally in industrial, engineering, aviation, or other regulated sectors.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills with a disciplined approach to process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean / Six Sigma).
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • PMP, Prince2, Lean Six Sigma, or Agile certification (preferred).
