About Your New Job

As a Senior Process Development Engineer, you will:

  • Lead the development, optimisation, validation, and industrialisation of electronics-enabled manufacturing processes for catheter-based medical devices.
  • Integrate complex electronics and PCB solutions into advanced medical assemblies, collaborating with R&D and supply chain partners.
  • Oversee process validation activities (IQ/OQ/PQ), ensuring rigorous compliance with ISO 13485, FDA QSR, and internal quality standards.
  • Act as a technical escalation point for electronics-related manufacturing challenges, driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance yield, robustness, and reliability.
  • Mentor and develop junior engineers, providing subject matter expertise in electronics processes and setting technical standards for the organisation.

What Skills You Need

  • Level 8 Honours Bachelor Degree in Electronics, Electrical, Biomedical Engineering, or related field.
  • At least 7 years’ process development or manufacturing engineering experience in a regulated industry, ideally medical devices.
  • Proven track record in electronics/PCB integration (rigid/flex), flex circuits, or sensor assemblies, preferably with catheter-based devices.
  • Solid experience in supplier management for electronics/PCB manufacturing.
  • Demonstrated competency in process validation, regulatory compliance, and technical leadership.
