Senior NPI Engineer

Permanent job available with a leading medical device company based in Limerick.

About Your New Job

  • Lead New Product Introduction (NPI) projects, ensuring successful integration of new products into existing manufacturing processes.
  • Participate in initiatives to enhance quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Support the development and execution of plans aligning with the organisation's objectives and growth.
  • Guide team members, fostering a culture of problem-solving and professional growth.
  • Collaborate with other departments to optimize plant operations.
  • Ensure adherence to quality, regulatory, and safety standards, and participate in audits.
  • Track, report, and forecast project budgets.
  • Drive changes and continuous improvement in site engineering systems and procedures.
  • Manage programs ensuring timely and effective project implementation.

What Skills You Need

  • Minimum BSc in Engineering, Science or relevant. MSc qualification preferred.
  • 3-5 years of engineering experience, including direct involvement in NPI projects.
  • Experience in project management is preferable.
  • Lean Six Sigma: Qualifications are preferable.
  • Ability to work with and influence outcomes in high-demand NPI environments.
  • Quickly adapt to new technologies and evolving NPI requirements.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a proven track record of delivering measurable results.
