About Your New Job

  • Make decisions on complex technical problems, applying advanced engineering techniques and adapting industry best practices.
  • Actively participate in the Operations Tier Management System, ensuring alignment between Engineering and Operations priorities.
  • Identify, specify, introduce, manage, and validate new equipment and technologies in the production area.
  • Provide technical leadership in problem-solving, process improvement, and resolution of technical issues.
  • Maintain and monitor key production indicators (KPIs), ensuring targets are met or exceeded.
  • Drive strategic projects to enhance production efficiency, leveraging the latest technological and process advancements.
  • Collaborate with management on objectives, new concepts, and policy matters.
  • Supervise Engineers, Technicians, and support staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.
  • Work on special projects, including writing ECNs and creating prototypes.
  • Act as a role model and mentor for team members.
  • Perform other related duties and tasks as required.

What Skills You Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field 
  • 5+ years relevant experience 
  • Experience in extrusion and/or coatings is desirable but not essential.
  • Strong analytical and scientific problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in computer applications (spreadsheets, word processing, databases).
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management experience.
  • Skills in 3D drawing (SolidWorks), simulation, flow simulation, ISO and ANSI drawings.
  • Experience with pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrically powered mechanisms.
  • Lean/Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and organizational skills.
