About Your New Job

  • As the Senior Line Equipment Technician, you will serve as the subject matter expert for equipment and provide hands-on support for production processes.
  • Lead in-depth Root Cause Analysis investigations for equipment failures, implementing permanent systemic engineering fixes beyond routine troubleshooting.
  • Take primary ownership of downtime data analysis—presenting weekly trends and action plans to management.
  • Develop concept designs, prototypes, and production tooling (jigs, fixtures, etc.), ensuring optimal equipment performance at all times.
  • Execute and improve Preventative Maintenance (PMs), ensuring equipment reliability and supporting line stability and cost-reduction projects.
  • Lead the management and availability of consumables and tooling, and support onboarding and technical guidance for new technicians and the production teams.

What Skills You Need

  • A Level 7 qualification in a technical discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in medical device manufacturing/CER as an equipment or process technician.
  • Automated equipment maintenance experience in a regulated environment.
  • Essential: Electrical fault finding—candidates must have hands-on experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and drawing packages (SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
  • Strong technical report writing skills and a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ideally, a track record of technical hobbies reflecting your mindset.
