About Your New Job
- As the Senior Line Equipment Technician, you will serve as the subject matter expert for equipment and provide hands-on support for production processes.
- Lead in-depth Root Cause Analysis investigations for equipment failures, implementing permanent systemic engineering fixes beyond routine troubleshooting.
- Take primary ownership of downtime data analysis—presenting weekly trends and action plans to management.
- Develop concept designs, prototypes, and production tooling (jigs, fixtures, etc.), ensuring optimal equipment performance at all times.
- Execute and improve Preventative Maintenance (PMs), ensuring equipment reliability and supporting line stability and cost-reduction projects.
- Lead the management and availability of consumables and tooling, and support onboarding and technical guidance for new technicians and the production teams.
What Skills You Need
- A Level 7 qualification in a technical discipline.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in medical device manufacturing/CER as an equipment or process technician.
- Automated equipment maintenance experience in a regulated environment.
- Essential: Electrical fault finding—candidates must have hands-on experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and drawing packages (SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
- Strong technical report writing skills and a focus on continuous improvement.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ideally, a track record of technical hobbies reflecting your mindset.
