About Your New Job
As a Senior Financial Planner, you will:
- Manage and grow a portfolio of clients, delivering high-quality, compliant advice across protection, investments, pensions, and broader financial planning needs.
- Build trusted relationships, identify new business opportunities, and work closely with internal teams to ensure an excellent client experience from initial engagement through to ongoing reviews.
- Service an existing book of clients, offering regular reviews and identifying opportunities to add value within their financial plans.
- Complete and administer all necessary documentation, maintain up-to-date and compliant client records, and contribute to the continuous improvement of administrative processes.
- Collaborate with colleagues to maximise lead generation and referrals, and contribute to the development of the department business plan.
- Maintain professional development and accreditation through ongoing training and seminars.
What Skills You Need
- 1-5 years’ experience as a Financial Planner within the Irish financial services market, ideally QFA qualified (CFP is a distinct advantage).
- Strong technical knowledge of financial planning, pensions, investments, and protection solutions.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and influencing skills, with a client-first approach and a proven ability to build and retain long-term relationships.
- Proficient with digital solutions for delivering advice (e.g., visualisation tools, DocuSign) and Microsoft Office packages.
- Highly motivated, solutions-focused, and able to work calmly under pressure with strong planning, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable developing new sources of business and managing a wide agenda.
