My Background

I’m a Recruitment Consultant with Sigmar Recruitment, delighted to be working as part of the Galway team. I come from a sales and hospitality background, having run my own cafés and catering businesses for over 10 years.

During that time, I was heavily involved in hiring, which I really enjoyed and naturally gravitated towards. I get a real buzz from connecting the right people with the right roles and finding candidates who genuinely fit a team and company culture.

In 2025, I decided to go back to college to build on that interest and completed a CIPD Diploma in HR, achieving a distinction in Talent Acquisition. That’s what led me to start my career in recruitment, where I now combine hands on business experience with formal HR training.

Specialised areas

I specialise in recruiting across Accountancy, Sales, and Marketing roles, working with a wide range of organisations from SMEs to global multinationals. I cover positions at all levels, from junior roles such as payroll assistants or shop floor staff right through to CFOs, Global Marketing Managers, and National Sales Managers.

I take pride in guiding candidates through the interview process, making sure they feel supported and informed every step of the way, while also maintaining clear and consistent communication with my clients.
