I’m a Recruitment Consultant on the Accountancy, Sales and Marketing desk with Sigmar Recruitment, delighted to be working as part of the Galway team. I come from a sales and hospitality background, having run my own cafés and catering businesses for over 10 years.

During that time, I was heavily involved in hiring, which I really enjoyed and naturally gravitated towards. I get a real buzz from connecting the right people with the right roles and finding candidates who genuinely fit a team and company culture.

In 2025, I decided to go back to college to build on that interest and completed a CIPD Diploma in HR, achieving a distinction in Talent Acquisition. This is what led me to start my career in recruitment, where I now combine hands-on business experience with formal HR training.

I manage full-cycle recruitment, from sourcing and screening candidates to ensuring clients receive only strong applications—and that candidates are the right fit for the company.
