About Your New Job
- As a Senior EHS Officer, you will ensure that large-scale construction projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
- Play a key role in promoting a strong safety culture on-site, ensuring full compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Support the EHS Manager in achieving company objectives, conducting site inspections, leading incident investigations, and driving continuous improvement.
- Mentor junior EHS team members and provide guidance to site management on EHS matters.
- Liaise with authorities, clients, and auditors while delivering EHS training and awareness to site teams.
What Skills You Need
- Degree or diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or related discipline.
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience in a similar EHS role within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of Irish health & safety legislation and experience working on large-scale commercial construction projects.
- Previous experience in a senior or lead EHS role.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and reporting systems.
- Full clean driving licence.
- Valid Safepass and Manual Handling certification.
