About Your New Job
As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will:
- Lead and promote design excellence across a diverse range of projects, providing sustainable engineering solutions to our clients.
- Independently manage multiple projects from concept design through to construction contract administration and project handover, requiring minimum Director-level intervention.
- Plan and allocate project resources, mentor and develop team members, and ensure full compliance with the company’s Quality Management System and Health & Safety standards.
- Focus on client relationship management—retaining existing business and generating new opportunities is a core responsibility.
- Participate in company strategy planning and execution, with the prospect of moving into an Associate Director role upon achieving agreed targets.
What Skills You Need
- Level 8/9 Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Chartered Engineer status (CEng, MIEI/MICE, or equivalent).
- At least 8 years’ postgraduate experience, preferably in consulting.
- Experience in master-planning and delivering roads and services infrastructure projects.
- Strong proficiency with the Design Manual for Urban Roads & Streets.
- Excellent technical, communication, and project management skills.
- Commercially astute, with budget management experience.
- Ability to produce high-quality project reports.
- Commitment to continuous professional development (CPD).
