About Your New Job
- As the Senior Chemist, you will perform analytical testing on drugs and drug combination products using advanced techniques such as Liquid/Gas Chromatography, Elution, Spectroscopy, and Wet Chemistry.
- You will develop and validate analytical test methods, ensuring all laboratory processes meet the highest standards.
- Lead laboratory investigations, promptly addressing and closing out issues to maintain integrity and compliance in lab operations.
- Interpret and report results accurately, conduct data trending, drive technical report writing, and support regulatory submissions.
- Act as the key liaison between the laboratory and departments such as Quality, Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, and Engineering.
- Provide technical support and execute troubleshooting for laboratory instrumentation and methodologies.
- Lead or participate in continuous improvement initiatives to reduce testing lead-times and achieve cost savings.
- Support the training and onboarding of new laboratory staff and assist with internal/external audits.
What Skills You Need
- Bachelor’s (minimum) in Chemistry or a related discipline.
- Minimum five years of experience in analytical chemistry, including method development/validation, and hands-on use of chromatography/spectroscopy techniques.
- Proven ability to independently manage workflow and deliver projects on time.
- Demonstrated experience in laboratory investigations, technical reporting, and data analysis.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.
- Strong commitment to compliance, continuous improvement, and mentoring/training colleagues.
