About Your New Job

  • As a Senior Accountant located in Westmeath (Hybrid), you’ll be responsible for preparing financial statements, managing tax compliance, and advising diverse clients such as sole traders, corporations, and partnerships.
  • Take ownership of a varied portfolio and deliver both accounting and business advisory services, ideal for someone who enjoys working across different sectors and making an impact.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to support the firm’s growth and help clients expand their businesses.
  • Act as a reliable consultant, assisting clients with their unique business challenges and guiding them towards success.

What Skills You Need

  • ACA or ACCA qualification, along with a minimum of three years’ experience in a public practice environment.
  • Excellent technical ability, attention to detail, and experience in preparing financial reports.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, effective communication, and organisational talent needed to work with clients and within a team.
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines, manage projects, and deliver exceptional service.
  • Strong commercial awareness and a genuine passion for supporting local businesses and SMEs.
