About Your New Job

As a Senior Accountant & Auditor in our Audit and Assurance Team, you will:

  • Take ownership of audit and audit exempt engagements from planning through completion, delivering high-quality audit working papers and statutory financial statements for SME and corporate clients.
  • Build and maintain client relationships, becoming a key contact for audit queries and business advisory.
  • Manage and mentor a small team of junior audit staff, ensuring high standards and professional development.
  • Oversee a varied portfolio of clients across multiple industries, driving audit processes in a fast-paced professional services environment.
  • Prepare corporation tax and VAT returns, including income tax and simple CGT, and advise clients on compliance matters.
  • Respond to audit, tax, and revenue queries from clients and regulatory bodies.
  • Participate in practice business development, firm promotion, and client acquisition.
  • Coach and develop students or other team members within the practice.

Your Profile

  • Accounting degree and a professional accountancy qualification (ACA/ACCA/CPA or equivalent).
  • 3 years’+ audit experience within a public practice or professional services firm, managing multiple assignments across industries.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of Irish or UK GAAP, audit standards, risk management, and compliance requirements.
  • Fluent English, with strong client-facing and communication skills.
  • Expertise in accounting and audit software: RAP, Surf Accounts Production, Quickbooks Online, XERO, Thesaurus, Brightpay, ROS, etc.
  • High organisational capability, deadline management, and process improvement.
  • Confident working in a Hybrid/onsite capacity at our Kildare offices.
