About Your New Job

  • As Sales Manager, you will lead a team of 8 sales professionals, split evenly between field- and internally based staff.
  • You will drive both direct account management and indirect sales by enabling and leading others, reporting directly to the Managing Director.
  • You will take ownership of account coverage, ensuring deep knowledge of market activities across major distributor and contractor clients.
  • A key focus will be on increasing penetration of the full product suite, actively driving cross-selling and up-selling initiatives.
  • You will be expected to proactively use sales analytics and CRM data to elevate team performance and shape account/market strategy.
  • You will set objectives, instill accountability, and coach and develop new and junior sales staff.

What Skills You Need

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a sales management role, ideally within construction, civil engineering, or manufacturing.
  • Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop sales teams with a focus on both strategy and results.
  • Strong analytical skills - able to leverage data and spot trends to inform performance and strategy.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
