About Your New Job

  • Lead Project Activities: Including EU MDR Implementation, Shelf-Life Extension Studies, Ideal Process Flow, Material Changes, development activities, and other manufacturing continuity & compliance initiatives.
  • Ensure proposed changes are systematically and thoroughly analyzed before beginning the change process. Justify and verify that the design intent is still met.
  • Work with project management, quality, manufacturing, regulatory, clinical, and marketing teams to ensure project success.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing to ensure alignment between print requirements and process validations.
  • Maintain product performance through rigorous support for design changes.
  • Plan and schedule activities necessary to meet timelines independently.
  • Design and coordinate standard engineering tests and experiments.
  • Perform troubleshooting on products/process problems related to design, material, or process.
  • Provide technical guidance within a team and be an effective communicator within a multidisciplinary and international organization.

What Skills You Need

  • Primary Degree in Biomedical Engineering (Min. FETAC level 8).
  • Minimum two years of R&D Engineering experience in a medical device environment.
  • Experience with Design Control and Design Change is necessary.
  • Experience in a post-commercial R&D role is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with requirements and procedures governing medical device Design Control, Risk Management, and Post Market Surveillance.
  • Knowledge of EU MDR is an advantage.
  • Ability to work independently to plan, schedule, and execute activities necessary to meet project timelines.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with good leadership abilities.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
