Quantity Surveyor – Dublin

€65,000 – €85,000 + Package | Permanent

About Your New Company

Our client is a leading Irish main contractor with an excellent reputation for delivering major residential and commercial developments across Dublin.

Due to continued growth, they are looking to add an experienced Quantity Surveyor to their commercial team.

About Your New Role

Working closely with the Commercial Manager and Project Manager, you will be responsible for the commercial management of your project from procurement through to final account.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing project costs and budgets
  • Subcontractor procurement and package management
  • Preparing valuations and payment applications
  • Managing variations and change orders
  • Cost reporting and forecasting
  • Preparing and reviewing subcontractor accounts
  • Monitoring commercial risks and opportunities
  • Assisting with final accounts
  • Working closely with the project and site teams
  • Supporting the wider commercial department

What You Will Need

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying / Construction Economics
  • 3+ years' relevant construction experience
  • Main contractor experience preferred
  • Strong commercial and contractual knowledge
  • Experience with subcontractor procurement and management
  • Good understanding of construction contracts
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
