Our client is a leading Data Centre Construction company delivering turnkey solutions to clients across Europe, with headquarters in Dublin. As an engineering-focused organisation, they have grown to become one of the most trusted and well-established companies within the sector.
The company is currently delivering multiple large-scale turnkey data centre projects across Europe, representing over 500 MW of IT load in delivery. Due to continued project growth, they are seeking to appoint experienced QA/QC Engineers (CSA, Mechanical & Electrical) to join their team, with the role based on-site in Finland.
About Your New Job
As QA/QC Engineer (Data Centres), you will be responsible for ensuring quality assurance and quality control processes are implemented and maintained across large-scale data centre construction projects. This role will be based on-site in Finland, supporting the successful delivery of CSA, Mechanical, and Electrical works to the highest quality standards.
Working closely with project managers, site engineers, subcontractors, and client representatives, you will plan and conduct quality audits and inspections to verify compliance with project specifications and company quality procedures. You will also ensure that project-specific quality plans are developed and implemented effectively across all work packages.
You will coordinate with subcontractors to ensure their quality systems meet project and company requirements, while liaising with client representatives to address and resolve any quality-related issues. In addition, you will support site teams by providing guidance to ensure all works meet project standards and quality benchmarks throughout the construction and commissioning phases.
What Skills You Need
As the QA/QC Engineer you will:
- Plan and conduct quality audits and inspections to verify compliance with project quality standards.
- Ensure company quality policies are implemented and maintained across all site activities.
- Develop and manage project-specific quality plans in line with project requirements.
- Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure their quality systems align with company procedures.
- Liaise with client quality representatives to resolve quality issues and ensure project compliance.
What You Need to Have
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in a QA/QC role within construction environments.
- Experience working on commercial, industrial, pharmaceutical, or data centre projects.
- Knowledge of installation and commissioning processes.
