About Your New Job
Wide-ranging Responsibilities: Participate in a broad spectrum of impactful projects nationwide, including property evaluations, facilities and asset oversight, building services compliance, procurement and coordination of contractors and consultants, snagging, defect liability assessments, stock condition evaluations, fire safety reviews, and scheme suitability assessments.
Collaborative Culture: Operate within the Asset Management Team, reporting to the Building Surveying Lead, and assist in the delivery and long-term management of cost rental, social, and affordable housing.
Project Oversight: Supervise and coordinate external consultants to ensure compliance with specifications, and assist in inspecting active construction sites and monitoring the condition of existing developments.
Data Management: Oversee and maintain the Asset Management Database, Life Cycle Costs, Stock Condition Survey Data, and Planned & Cyclical Maintenance information.
Strategic Advisory: Evaluate and provide recommendations on development proposals from an asset management perspective, and contribute to the formulation of strategies for asset management and sustainability.
What Skills You Need
- 3rd level degree in Building Surveying, Building Services, Facilities, or Construction Management.
- A minimum of 3 years in a related role such as Property Surveying, Asset Management or Construction Management on residential projects.
- SCSI, CIOB, CIBSE, ICWI is considered a strong asset.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, field reporting software/apps, or other property-related IT systems.
- Knowledge of current construction and building services in housing, apartments, and residential blocks.
- Strong understanding of Health & Safety regulations; Safe Pass or MSIC Training considered an asset.
- You have your own vehicle and a full driving license
