Project Manager – Medical Device – Longford

The Role
We are hiring a Project Manager (Medical Device Manufacturing) to join a company in an exciting growth phase in Longford. This is a customer-facing role managing projects across domestic manufacturing sites, ideal for candidates with experience in injection moulding, contract manufacturing, or medical devices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage project development through the full project life cycle
  • Develop statements of work and assemble project teams
  • Define deliverables, resource requirements, risks and assumptions
  • Build and manage project timelines using project management toolkits
  • Maintain risk registers and develop response strategies
  • Act as the main point of contact for customers
  • Communicate project expectations, updates and risks to stakeholders
  • Manage customer and stakeholder expectations throughout the project
  • Capture and distribute project records and documentation
  • Delegate tasks effectively and manage project dependencies
  • Identify, escalate and resolve project issues and team conflicts
  • Maintain project document archives and ensure compliance with policies
  • Lead meetings and project activities onsite, virtually and internationally
  • Take full ownership of project success and support special projects

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business discipline, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Project Management role
  • Background in injection moulding, contract manufacturing or a related industry
  • Strong planning, reporting, communication and organisational skills
  • Proven customer-facing experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Project and Teams
  • Experience with Smartsheet or similar project management tools is advantageous
  • CAPM or PMP certification is beneficial
  • Fluent written and spoken English
