About Your New Job
- Work with Project Manager and Engineering Team: Translate project forecasts and customer requirements into detailed project and capacity plans.
- Schedule Project Activities: Ensure on-time delivery.
- Coordinate Project Tasks: Collaborate with the manufacturing planner and quality team.
- Analyze Engineering Resource Availability: Manage equipment constraints.
- Monitor Project Stock Levels: Minimize excess/obsolete inventory.
- Track Work-In-Progress (WIP): Manage raw materials and finished goods.
- Ensure Compliance: Adhere to operating standards and employee handbook.
- Prepare for Development Runs: Handle tooling and documentation.
- Support Project Costing and Quotes: Assist with related activities.
- Adhere to Safety Requirements: Follow plant safety and health & safety requirements.
- Other Duties: Perform additional tasks as assigned by the manager.
What Skills You Need
- Experience: 2+ years in a similar role. Working in a medical device environment is advantageous but not essential.
- Education: Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Planning, or a related area.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, MS Project, and Resource Planning Software.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Customer Interaction: Comfortable in a customer-facing role with good presentation skills.
- Analytical Thinking: Attention to detail.
- Communication: Effective communicator and collaborator.
- Adaptability: Comfortable in a fast-paced, regulated manufacturing environment.
- Problem-Solving: Proactive problem-solver with a continuous improvement mindset.
