The Role
Our client is a growing manufacturing company in Roscommon seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead factory operations across machining, assembly, and dispatch.
This is a hands-on leadership role focused on production efficiency, quality management, continuous improvement, and on-time delivery. You will take ownership of day-to-day factory performance, people management, and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities of Production Manager
Manage daily production and factory operations
Lead teams across machining, assembly, finishing, logistics, and dispatch
Plan and coordinate production schedules and capacity
Drive continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, and KPI performance
Improve quality standards and reduce rework and waste
Maintain strong health, safety, and housekeeping standards
Manage staffing, performance, and training requirements
Resolve production issues and bottlenecks
Work closely with logistics and installation teams
Report operational risks and performance metrics to senior management
Candidate Profile
Experience as a Production Manager, Factory Manager, or Manufacturing Manager
Strong people leadership in a high-volume manufacturing environment
Proven production planning and scheduling experience
Confident managing KPIs, performance, and output
Practical, hands-on leadership style
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
No degree required – experience is key
