Procurement Coordinator

Location: East Galway City

The role is fully on site, Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week, 8.00am to 4.00pm and 8.00am – 3.30pm on a Friday.

This is a new, permanent role and is joining a Procurement team of 4.

About Your New Job

  • As the Procurement Coordinator, you will source and procure a wide range of consumables, from general office supplies to specialised equipment and critical items.
  • Ensure all stock is available to meet operational needs, liaising with suppliers for quality, pricing, and timely delivery.
  • Monitor stock levels, manage reordering processes, and coordinate urgent orders for time-sensitive requirements.
  • Support daily supply and logistics tasks, ensuring prompt delivery of essential supplies to various departments.
  • Build strong relationships with vendors, negotiate favourable terms, and manage purchase orders, invoices, and compliance documentation.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to anticipate supply needs and contribute to a positive, can-do team culture.

What Skills You Need

  • Proven experience in procurement, supply chain, or purchasing—ideally within a regulated or fast-paced environment. 
  • Strong communication and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and prioritise urgent requests.
  • Flexible, proactive, and hands-on team player, comfortable working both at a desk and being out and about on site, working closely with the different business units on site.
  • Experience of inventory management systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
