Accountant / Auditor (South Donegal)

About Your New Job
- Financial Statement Preparation: Compile Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet reports for clients.
- Account Reconciliation: Reconcile all key Balance Sheet accounts.
- Account Finalization: Finalize accounts for limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships.
- Tax Return Assistance: Help complete various tax returns (e.g., PAYE/PRSI, Corporation Tax, Income Tax, VAT).
- Client Management: Oversee the client base to ensure timely completion of work.
- Ad-hoc Duties: Handle other miscellaneous tasks as needed.
- Client Interaction: Present to clients with strong presentation skills.
What Skills You Need
- Experience: Ideally at least 3 years of experience in an accountancy practice.
- Technical Expertise: Solid technical accounting knowledge is crucial.
- Audit Experience: Significant audit experience (if opting for audit responsibilities).
- MS Office Proficiency: Skilled in using MS Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Client-Facing Skills: Eager to work in a client-facing role delivering professional services.
- Soft Skills: Quick thinker, detail-oriented, resourceful, with strong communication and organizational skills.
- Desirable Skills: Familiarity with Relate/Surf Accounts Production is a plus.
