Location: County Kildare

Hybrid: 3 days in office

Our client is an established company based in Co Kildare.

They have an opportunity for a Part-Qualified Accountant seeking the next step in their career.

This is a varied role, offering an opportunity to work closely with a Qualified Accountant and develop your technical reporting experience in a busy role.

Please note due to location it is essential you have access to a car for this role.

About your new job

As Part -Qualified Assistant Accountant you will support the day-to-day finance function and play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance. 

Key duties will include:

  • Assisting with month-end close and balance sheet reconciliations.

  • Preparing and posting journals to reporting deadlines,

  • Completing bank reconciliations and supporting monthly accounting activities.

  • Assisting with the preparation of management accounts.

  • Supporting the annual external audit and responding to audit queries.

  • Maintaining the fixed asset register

  • Preparing and submitting various tax and VAT returns,.

  • Supporting various finance projects as they arise.

Is this you?

  • Part-Qualified Accountant actively working towards your professional qualifications (ACCA/CIMA/CPA)

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a relevant finance position.

  • Prior experience supporting month end close is required

  • Prior reconciliations experience essential.
