About Your New Accounting Firm Role
- As a Part-Qualified Accountant, you will assist in preparing annual accounts for a wide range of SME clients, following best practices and Irish accounting standards.
- Handle VAT, RCT, and income tax returns, support audit activities, and assist in corporation tax return submissions.
- Offer expert guidance on accounting queries and compliance, helping clients manage their bookkeeping and cloud accounting software (Xero, Sage, Bright, etc.).
- Collaborate directly with clients, keep clear and accurate records, and guarantee all statutory deadlines are strictly met.
- Participate in advisory and tax planning initiatives, providing valuable support to partners and senior professionals within the practice.
What Skills & Experience You Need
- Current part-qualified accountant (ACCA, Chartered Accountants Ireland, CPA Ireland, or equivalent).
- Recent practice experience in an accountancy firm with Irish clients is highly valued.
- Sound understanding of Irish company financial statements, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Strong proficiency with accounting software, Microsoft Excel, and ideally cloud-based platforms like Xero, Sage, or Bright.
- Exceptional attention to detail, analytical thinking, ability to manage multiple deadlines, and solid communication skills.
