About Your New Job
As Operations Manager, you will take ownership of day-to-day operations across solar PV and heat pump installation activities. You will:
- Lead field-based teams, surveyors and support staff, building a culture of accountability, quality and safety.
- Develop and improve processes across surveying, design, scheduling, installation and handover.
- Increase installation capacity while reducing delays, rework, complaints and operational costs.
- Oversee health and safety, quality standards, suppliers and logistics.
- Support the sales team with technical project scoping, pricing and commercial decision-making.
- Establish KPIs and provide clear operational performance reports to senior management.
What Skills You Need
- Proven experience in operations management
- Strong knowledge of solar PV, heat pumps or mechanical/electrical installations.
- Experience managing field-based teams and multi-site operations.
- Strong leadership, organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of health and safety compliance and RAMS.
- Commercial awareness, with experience supporting technical pricing desirable.
